Rhonda G. Raney

     With 25 years of professional work experience in the private and government sectors as a civil trial lawyer, mediator, lobbyist and agency executive, Rhonda brings a wealth of unique qualifications to alternative dispute resolution. She has served in many roles in the mediation process throughout her career – as mediator, as an attorney representing parties in mediation, as an agency executive and representative in mediation and as a professor of mediation.

     Included in her experience is her tenure as a partner with the law firm of Seitz, Tresher and Raney , Deputy Director of the NC Bar Association, Attorney and Lobbyist with the NC Education Law Project, Executive Director of NC Justice Center and her service as Deputy Secretary of the Department of Public Safety. This, along with other professional and civic service and small business ownership experience, has not only provided her with valuable experience in many areas of the law and mediation, but has also developed diverse and valuable leadership, management and business skills that she brings to her mediation practice.

Rhonda has served her profession, local community and state in many ways. Some of her current and former civic and professional affiliations include:
